ABOUT US . . 

Ron's Tackle Box was established in 1996 and was orginally set up as a weekend store located at the Auburndale Flea Market on Hwy 92.  In 1998 an extensive fire destroyed most of the Flea Market.  Fortunately (Thank God)  Ron's Tackle Box was untouched by the fire, but business opportunities were greatly hampered while the Flea Market struggled to rebuild.  Inventory was packed up and the search was on to find a new location which ultimately led us to Lake Alfred, FL where we've been for the past (20) years with great satisfaction and success!  Lake Alfred's quaint and unique environment offered the perfect setting and greatly appealed to owner Ron Schelfo's background in fishing and antiques.  Ron's Tackle Box not only has a huge selection of New Retail Fishing Tackle and Decor', but also specializes in Antique/Vintage Fishing Tackle. We're located in the middle of (554) beautiful Polk County lakes here in central Florida and can be easily accessed via State Hwy 92 or the I-4 Corridor.
